Biathlon takes its name from the two events it combines: cross-country skiing and shooting. It originated in the 20th century, initially for military purposes.

The discipline opened up to the public after World War I and became an Olympic sport in 1960 for men and in 1992 for women.

Though it long struggled with the image of being less exciting than alpine skiing and reserved for a niche group pf enthusiasts, biathlon is now recognized as both a fun and athletic activity!

You'll get the chance to try your hand at laser rifle shooting using professional equipment! But first, you'll get in zone with a short ski course. Focus is key to scoring maximum points!
